Complaints
Our goal is to provide excellent service to our customers. If you are dissatisfied for any reason we would like to hear about it. We recommend that you contact us at sales@pristineiceland.com as soon as any incident occurs. If you cannot do that at that time, you must notify it within 7 days of your return home.
Insurance
Although we have insurance for us and our customers, we encourage all of our customers to purchase insurance before traveling to Iceland.
General Conditions
Pristine Iceland disclaims responsibility for any loss, damage, accidents, injury or illness that might occur during our tours or death caused by the client’s negligence, acts of third parties or exterior circumstances such as weather, natural occurrences or other similar causes. We therefore advise all clients to have comprehensive travel insurance to meet all contingencies.
The same applies for any changes to the itinerary or departure times, without prior notice, due to weather, strikes or any irregularity that is beyond the control of Pristine Iceland. The estimated duration of tours as indicated on our website are standard times and can vary according to road or weather conditions.
No responsibility is taken for losses or expenses due to delay or changes of flights (extra hotel nights, meals, transfers etc), injury, damage, negligence, weather or natural disasters.
All prices are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuation, fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances. In case of human or computer error, Pristine Iceland reserves the right to calculate new invoice for the correct price or service.
Terms of Payment
We accept all major credit cards and electronic bank transfer. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total price should reach Pristine Iceland at the time of booking.
Once you have submitted your booking and paid a deposit of 20% for your tours, you will receive a confirmation of your booking by email. Be aware that by payment of the deposit, you signify your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
* If the booking is made within 30 days of your arrival, full payment is required.
All prices is in ISK and include local taxes. Pristine Iceland is not responsible for changes in currency exchange rates that might occur from the time the deposit is paid until the balance is in progress or a refund is made.
Any eventual changes in rates will not be made with less than 4 week notice prior to arrival. See the currency converter www.xe.com
The balance should be paid at least one month before arrival. You will be informed by email about this.
If you wish to pay for your trip with a bank transfer, please send an email to sales@pristineiceland.com and state your arrival date and a name of the payee.
Cancellations terms
All cancellations are to be made by email to salel@pristineiceland.com with as much notice as possible. 20% of the price of your trip in non-refundable, this percentage reflects our cost of booking and preparing your trip.
Following Icalandic business practice, we recerve the right to charge cancellation fees as follows:
Cancellations made 60 days or less but more than 30 day notice: 80% refund
Cancellations made 29 days or less but more than 7 day notice: 50% refund
Cancellations made 7 days or less, or no-show at pickup: no refund
We strongly recommend that our clients purchase a comprehensive travel insurance to cover possible need of cancellation. If a volcanic eruption in Iceland keeps you from getting to Iceland, you will get a full refund.
